Florida debt moved to OhioWhat is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? OH A national electronics store in Florida issued credit to me several years ago and now I cannot pay the outstanding balance of $1656.57. I received a letter from an agency saying they had "purchased" my debt and I must pay in full within 30 days or collections proceedings would begin. I cannot pay this as requested. What recourse do I have? |

| If you can't pay it.. not much. It'll go to collections and then THEY will hound you for the money. You could try offering a settlement.. but they'll likely won't take less than 60-80% for a fresh charge-off.
