| My husband's wages have been garnished for a Dentist bill. We have been and continued to make payments on this bill. Original bill was around $2,000. With the payments we have made the unpaid balance is around $100. The dentist office is garnishing for the original amount of $2,000. Should the amount we have paid to date be subtracted from the original amount or do we have to pay the original amount owed twice? |
