i am in florida, ithought that i read about something called the goodwill law in which you can write a company and tell them that you will pay off your debt to them in a certain number of installments and that the company can not put negative information on your credit nor send your account with them to a collections agency. is this true.------------------------------thanks------deanellgilmore
