Got summons, but wrong county

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I'm in california

I received a summons to court for target credit card. it's a legit debt. however the summons was sent to my old roommate's house where i had lived. i now live in another county. i went up later and got the papers from her. the papers state "reason this is the correct county for filing" and they checked "a defendant resides in this county" well obviously this is not correct, so what do i do? can this be used to buy some more time (i'm trying to pay a bk lawyer) how do i properly file that i now live elsewhere do they have to refile it in my current coutny? do i just call the opposing lawyer and tell them hey i'm in this other county now, refile your summons?
