Hearing Today

What is the name of your state? PA

I have a hearing scheduled for today for an unpaid credit balance. What happens if I don't show up?

The opposing side gets a judgment by default.

Show up and argue your case. Demand that they produce a contract with your signature and demand a complete accounting.
Also, you may well be able to come to a settlement prior to the trial. Heck, the opposing lawyer may not show and you'll get a default in your favor. Only thing I can say is, if you don't show it's a 100& chance you'll lose. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Went but because I didn't notify the magistate that I would be there the judgement went against me. How long does this stay on my credit record?
