I own a few homes and have a good job. I owe a total 25K to about 5 credit cards. The payments are now killing me. I have never been late or in default. What are my options?

You do not want to default or miss payments. You do not want to consolidate your debt--there are a lot of scams out there.

Try cutting corners from other areas (eating out, shopping, cable, etc). You could always sell a home (since you have more than one)...

Or you could get another cc with a low rate and do a balance transfer. If you choose this last option, do not charge them back up! The new cc is just for a lower interest rate, which will in turn lower your payments (usually).
