Help with question about bad checks

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? South Carolina
My husband had the only job I was a stay at home mom and I was on the account but the checks only said my husbands name not mine I frequently signed my name to checks but we sepperated briefly and he closed the account without my knowlege. Now he has died and I need to know if I can be served with a worthless check warrant. Because I signed my name to them. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Did you write checks against the account while it was closed? Have you contacted the parties to whom the checks were written?

Well Zig, yet another example of there being more to the story than we've been given
