hubby's credit card

What is the name of your state? TX
Can the credit card company call me demanding payment when it is my husbands' credit card even before we got married that is in late payment? My husband gave them my number because I am the one paying all the bills.

They are calling you because that is the contact number they have on file. Legally you are not responsible for the payment, as the credit card is in your husband name.

If you want them to stop calling you and demand payment, ask for your number to be removed from their file, and give a contact number for your husband, or ask them to contact him by mail or something. They are calling you because that's the number the have.

You can advised them, he's not there, not home, and they will keep calling until they get to speak with him.
