I am suing two collection agencies

What is the name of your state? FL
I am in the process of suing two different collection agencies for a debt that I paid in full on time. My question is can you think of anything else that may help me?
In the year 2000 I had a returned check for the amount of $127 I paid it the min I found out it had been returned, well they said I never paid them. I have kept all copies my letters and copies of money orders and cashier check. I have sent it to them so many times over the course of 2 yrs. Last yr they finally take it off my credit report. I found it back on my credit report this past Oct with a different collections company. I paid again on the advice of a loan officer. I am tring to buy a house and other things. I sent with the payment a copy of the letter sent to me by the oringal creditor stating that the account was a mistake. It is still on my report! Now they have updated it to being a recent 90 days late. It is bringing down my score so much!!! I went to court today and the attorney for the other two is calling asking to settle. His first offer is $1000. This doesn't even cover the cost of higher intrest I have to pay because of this mistake. I have found 3 laws that they have broken in my state. Title 33 chapter 559.715, 559.72 section 6 and 9. Teh cost of damages to my credit to date are $3595. Can anyone think of anything else that I can get these comapnies for? They have sent me to the eadge of sainity too many times over the last 2 yrs and I want to make them pay!!
