Illegal cash advance from Visa? Repay? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA My wife, 69, was visiting a friend and went shopping alone in Norcross. She became a victim of the Pigeon Drop (Lost Money) Scam. After the perps had been with my wife for a couple of hours, she became confused and disoriented and was coerced into removing $6000 in a cash advance on our Visa card and, of course, they got away with the money. A Police report has been filed. Since it was not a fraudulent transaction on a stolen card, Visa is attempting to make me pay the entire $6000 back to them. Is there anyway around this?? Thanks for your reply, Marvin |

| Yep. All you have to do is to find the suspects and have them arrested, then contact the DA and try to assure that they have to pay restitution to you for the $6000 you have to pay. Why would you think that VISA is liable for your wife's actions?
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

| Jet is obviously right. The situation stinks, but your wife gave these people the money and was ultimately responsible for withdrawing the money. Chalk it up as a very expensive loss and pay the debt. |
