Improper Service? Business enitity...

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? NC

Disputed(May, 2004), then settled business credit card on an LLC I owned/managed which has since been legally dissolved. Received summons and complaint to me, personally and to the LLC. However, complaint states my name then DBA the LLC. I was not set up like this and I believe that would be a totally different entity. I want to answer the complaint w/o acknowledging this "DBA" entity. Would I include this in the answer? Am I reaching in considering this improper service?
