Improving credit score

What is the name of your state? Florida

Hi all, I'm trying to raise my beacon in order to qualify for a mortgage. About 5-7 yrs ago I had several late/collection accounts, which have been reconciled. Since then, I've been mostly clean with one collection account. I've contacted the various companies who are reporting erroneous information and they are in the process of correcting. I'm also in the process of clearing the collection.

Other than that, what can I do to improve my score? A friend has a service that he says will improve your score 100+ points. Basicly he said that he will contact every company/entity with a negative report on your CBR and contest the report. And that if they don't reply within a certain amount of time, the negative report must be removed from my CBR. Is this true? Is this a worthwhile service?

Thanks!

Send a validation letter to the collection agency disputing the alleged debt. Send this certified mail return receipt. When you get the green card back, dispute with the credit bureaus as "not mine." Send this certified mail return receipt. If the CA's don't verify within 30 days, it is deleted. That will cost less than $10.

What you probably heard about was rapid rescoring. It does not work this way.

Send a message via Yahoo to MamaLuna
Go to www.creditboards.com they'll tell you exactly how to do it. You don't have to pay anyone to clean up your credit you can do it yourself.
