Inappropriate phone call from credit card co.

Texas

I was contacted by a rep from a credit card that I hold a card with. The rep stated he had spoken to me about 2 weeks ago about my account & decide to take my information home to call me. He preceded to inform that their are jobs where he lives & that the credit card company he works for is hiring. He said I could stay with him if I decide to move his state. He then asked if I was married and have any kids. I told him that his phone call to me is unprofressional & he said he was just trying to help me.

I called the credit card company & spoke with a manager told her about the situation & that I was concerned since they have all my person info in their system including my checking account #. She said she forward the information to HR.

Should I be satisfied with that. How do I do they have resolved the situation & what if he gets mad after they have spoken to him. This is making me feel uncomfortable. I have already contacted the attorney general office to file a complaint. Is there anything else I need to do?

That doesn't sound right what he is doing. Sounds like he is up to something and wants to take advantage of You. You may want to get the call professionally traced somehow if he calls again so they can find him.
