ISP Billing I am from Texas and I have a problem with my ISP. All my local ISP's require a one year contract. I knew I would be moving within the year and was assured by the president of this ISP that I could get out of the contract at any time and just pay for the time I use it. The contract was marked out and signed/dated by the president that pertained to the $200 cancellation. When I moved 10 months later, billing would not honor what he did. I have sent back the equipment, but billing will not confirm my cancellation. They want the $200 early cancellation. I keep getting the $50 month bill that's now over $150. This has not gone to collection yet. I want to settle this befour it does. If I can't, what are my options after it goes to collections? |
