This will be an uphill, though not impossible, battle.
1. Separate out each charge for the entire time you were joint account owners
2. Are these charges clearly his? I..e solely for a man and not a gift by you? I.e. can you show receipts, signatures? by talking with the credit card company, you might be able to get some stuff from them to prove these were solely his charges. Anything he purchased for you? These you cannot make him pay for.
3. Show the dates he made minimum payments
