Judge didn't care about my motions filed, HELP :(

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NYC

So my debt went to a collector who summoned me. I filed several motions, particularly that they did not serve me correctly (said they notified me through a person who doesn't live in my building, I had my land lord write a letter saying that the person doesn't exist.

Judge didn't care and it just went by so fast. Now they set up a next hearing and let it go through.

What can i do?

Thanks for your help

About what??? The only 'motion' you claim is that you were not properly served, yet clearly that is not correct since you know of and responded to the lawsuit. The requirement for 'proper notice' is to assure that the defendant is aware of the lawsuit as required. The simple fact of your answer ('motions') to the suit proves you are aware of the lawsuit and 'trumps' any claim of improper notice.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

Nope. The only requirement is that YOU (defendant) be noticed of the lawsuit. Though the state mandates procedures that must be followed in a PROPER notice, the purpose of which is that you be aware of the lawsuit filing. The simple fact that you answered (or motioned) the suit is sufficient prove of 'notice'.

Apparently not, as you claim the suit against you still exists.

You probably should also have googled "Traverse Hearing" before you filed any motions as well, but it's too late for that now. Without one, issue has been joined.
