I live in Michigan and I had a Judgement against me 10 years ago. I have been making payments on the Judgement ever since as a result of an agreement at the time of Judgement. Now, 10 years later, I get served with another Judgement for the smae debt. I called the Attorney that is persuing the Judgement and He said the Judgement needed to be renewed every 10 years in Michigan and that I had been making the payments as scheduled and that everything will continue as is but the Judgement needs to be renewed every 10 years. Is He telling me the truth ?

yes judgements are renewed every 10 years.
