judgment rights

What is the name of your state? missouri

My boyfriend currently has 2 judgements against him, which are about 3 years old. No action has ever been taken, such as wage garnishment as of yet. He is getting ready to buy a house which is owner financed and I need to know if these judgements could have any negative effects on this purchase. At closing, doesn't the title company ask if you have any judgements against you?
