Judgment in TexasI live in Texas and have an attorney calling about a credit card bill. He says he can attach accounts my husband has. I would like to know if that is true, and if they can attach 401K accounts and/or retirement accounts of my husband. |

| We need more info here. Whose name is the credit card in? Have you already been sued. whose name is on the judgement if there is one? Are your bank accounts joint or individual?

| The account is in my name. Our checking accounts a joint checking accounts. However, his 401K and retirement are only in his name. No, they haven't sued yet. They are threatening to. They say they can attach his things. I thought they might be lying, but I wanted to know for sure. The call came from someone named Paul Lerma at LTD Financial. He said his company was a law office. My husband has his name on an account with his parents, but my name is not on that group of accounts. Could they attach anything from his parents' accounts? |
