To LadynredWhat is the name of your state? California. Dear Ladynred, I didn't know how to respond to your reply, The loan was granted on the phone at my dentist office for $1,000.00 . The name was Bank One, the second name is GE Capital. Bank One has just settled a class action suit. Now, they go by GE Capital. On the web site "The Bad business bureau" or The rip-off report.com there's at least 57 complaints by consumers who are being charged late fees and over-limit fees regardless how early they've mailed in their payment. Check it out. Also, I didn't mean that I paid the original debt so thats that. I'm saying that no matter how much I send in there is no change in the balance. If you would take a look at that web site you'll see what I mean. Thanks for your reply. Sincerely, Gayle |

| Yes, I've read the Ripoffreport, but BankOne has been pulling this scam of holding payments to charge late fees for years. FirstUSA, part of BankOne, has been caught doing it and there have been class actions against them too. There was even a 20/20 or Dateline story on them to expose their crap. All they offered was some blonde bimbo who could only recite one of 3 set lines she was fed.. none of which answered the interviewers questions !! Oh.. to answer on a thread.. just go to the bottom and hit the "reply' button ![]()
