late paymentsI am behind on a car payment and it is not in collection. Does my creditor still have to abide by the Fair Debt Collection laws? Specifically, calling me at work when I have told them several times (and have written letters) that this will endanger my job? |

| The original creditor is allowed to call you at home and send you letters, even if you do not want them to do so. They cannot call you at work if you let them know that personal calls are not allowed at your employer's office. |
