What is the name of your state? Maryland

In filling for chapter 7 the house was valued at 215,000 i owe 180,000 how will that affect me! is that a personal asset

Also I have a car in a body shop thats worth about 20,000 the person who own's the shop is going to put a lein on my car for non payment, can he do that, he doe this work on the side in his garage. Can i pay him small amounts? I did tell him i would pay him when it was done , that was before i found out wife had screwed me on the cards.
