living and learningtexas i have a very good account with a client. this client referred a general contractor to me, he was needing help with a job this job was performed at the building that my very good client owns. guess what. i am not getting paid. because i am an idioit, i didn't do a credit check. i could put a lein on the property, but that would jepordize my relationship with my "very good client" i am sure. so here are my options (i think) 1. hire a lawyer and take hime to small claims court 2. can i put a lein on his business, is there such a thinkg? 3. could i put a lein on his house (probably not) 4. eat it and learn a valuable lesson (ouch 3000.00) 5. call my very good client to see if he can assist ( note, the contractor was working for general dollor store finishing out thier space) any advice or comments would be appricated Last edited by tamwham2; 05-05-2002 at 12:44 AM. |
