Lost Video i don't know where i would actually go for assistance or if there is anything i can really do. but here goes. about 2 1/2 months ago irented 4 videos from a video store. two weeks after i returned them. i received a message that i had an overdue video. i called the store and was told the name of the video and told them that i returned all four movies to their night drop box. i was then told that at the end of the month (which would be in about 2 weeks) that they do a full store inventory this is when they usually found misplaced videos. around the first week of the month when i had not received a response, i called back. they said that they still had not found the video and that someone would do a physical checke throughout the store. i still didn't receive a call. last week, i received a letter from a collection agency representing the company saying that i owe $71.36 for the replacement of the movie as well as all late charges. am i obligated to pay this? |
