maiden name and credit report

Just married, applied for a mortgage in my name only(husband has bad credit). Broker suggested using my maiden name to apply,since all of my accounts, and drivers lisence does not yet show my married name.He said it would reduce paperwork that they would ask for.However, I just recieved my new social security card, wont my new name now show up on my credit report? I am afraid that conflicting info will look bad.Ilive in Illinois
