May be sued over repo'ed boat

What is the name of your state? Texas

I have recently voluntarily repo'd a boat.

If was to full of problems to sale.

I offered to continue paying the loan but was instead sent a
demand for almost 10,000.00. I offered 2,000 and now am getting messages form a Law firm.

Question, If they sue and get a judgment in TX, what actually can they do with it.?

The only property I own is my jeep, no houses, or other property.

They can't garnish your wages in Texas, however-a judgement on your credit report will haunt you for years, and it does hurt. About the only thing worse is a late mortgage payment. Do what you can not to get the judgement. The SOL is longer also.

You might try to settle for a lesser amount and have them put in writing they won't report a negative on your report.
