Mom's CC debt. She is in NYC, I am in CT. My mother has an outstanding CC bill that she has not been paying for years. I just became aware of this. It is only under her name and nobody else is on the account. I am the owner of a small life insurance policy for her. In the event of her demise will I be responsible for paying the CC debt that shes owes from the insurance policy? |

| The beneficiaries of a life insurance policy get their money directly form the ins. company. The money is not part of the deceased's estate. You are not liable for the deceased's debts. |
