My creditors

In Florida:

Forty thousand in credit cards overdue. Tried CCCS but could not keep up. My job was in tourism in Florida so no money coming in since the attack on 9-11.
My question: I used a third party mailbox for my addresses for the credit cards. I have since moved and no one seems to be able to locate me. I had no regular job. They just sent me the cards preapproved. Bank account is emtey.
I want to declare bankruptcy but hesitate. Will they sue me if I have nothing. I mean my credit is shot anyway.

Last payments were thru CCCS in August..no contact since.

Thanks, Glo

You ask "Will they sue me if I have nothing."

My answer is a solid, confirmed, unequivocal..... who knows??

You are asking us (who have no idea of the specifics of your situation, no idea of the creditor situation and no idea of your credit history), to try to 'foretell' what someone else will do. No one knows.

I can add though.... if the creditor wants to make an example of you, they are more likely to sue than not.

If the creditor wants to spend a small amount of money to get the long term benefits of a judgment, they are more than likely to sue than not.

If the creditor sells your debt to a 3rd party, then the whole 'what if' scenario starts anew.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
