my rights on land

I am from Louisiana, I have land here that is joint land between myself and 6 half brothers and sisiters. I have been paying the taxes and doing the lawn and other things to it since my parents passed in the 80's. I have been unable to do the maintence in the land since 96 cause of a motorcycle accident but my wife and kids have done the work for me since. I have tried to sell the property but i have three of six who will not let me. I was wondering how i go about getiing this in my name and the rights i have over it. I thought the law was after 3 yrs i could get it in my name because i pay all taxes and do all work that needs to be done. I would really like some answeres here to help me know how i go around the others who do nothing for the land or me.
