| Your names may be the same, but your Social Security numbers are NOT ! That's the key to the credit report mix-ups. The CRA's screw this up ALL the time because they are lax in their procedures. They see the same name and if you're first on the list, YOU get the booby prize of HIS debt.
Dispute every one of them as NOT MINE. Do you each have middle initials ?? If so, make sure that appears on your credit reports too.
The CRA's just got slapped for not doing enough to properly investigate disputes, so you'll have some leverage.
