New Millenium Bank

What is the name of your state? Arizona

I have been reluctant to apply for credit cards for the last several years (or any credit, for that matter) due to old debts from five, six years ago that may come up under suit were they to find out I am now financially stable (my most recent employer on the credit reports is from six years ago).

NMB is offering a secured card, claims it doesn't check credit, and charges semi-reasonable rates. I'd like whatever input everyone has on this company, as I would hate to waste the time and effort and money in fees if this card isn't worth the hassle.

Has anyone had negative experience with this card company - is it a reputable service, etc. I'd hate to get caught up in a credit card like Providian.
Thanks~

I think the point is that this is not a legal question. I suggest you check with the BBB to see if there are any negative comments on this company. Personally, I've never heard of them.

Was there a LEGAL question in there somewhere??
Sorry, but this is not a 'consumer research' forum.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

BoomBox, go over to www.creditboards.com, there's TONS of info on credit cards over there and plenty of people to answer your question.
