| Generally speaking, you can file bk after a judgement if it's things like unsecured debt {credit cards} or hospital bills, etc. You won't be able to discharge stuff like court ordered child or spousal support, or student loans, or in some states judgements from acts of violence. What happens after a judgement, is they can proceed to garnish your wages if your state allows it or, place leins against your property. |
