| Yes, they can.
Sorry, but here are the harsh facts... you owe a debt. They want payment. You cannot pay. They are under no obligation to accept smaller payments. They can take you to court to get a judgment against you.
The judgment will do several things:
1) It will extend the 'normal' statute of limitations to the state allowed judgment limitation.
2) The judgment will include the overdue amount, plus attorney fees, plus court costs, plus interest.
3) The state provides certain procedures that a judgment creditor can use to enforce the judgment (more so than 'normal' bills).
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).
Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
