Overdraft fees

My bank charged my checking account an overdraft fee on April 1st, for debit card purchases that were not posted to my account until April 2nd. Then on April 2nd they charged my account overdraft fees again on the same purchases plus another purchase. I bank in Arkansas is this legal ?

He didn' need Google. We get this question all the time.

Only way to avoid OD fees is to keep a check register so you know how much money you have, and then don't spend what you don't have

Did you read the question, they charged my account the overdraft a day before, they posted to my account and then charged it again. This imo is stealing.

You are right. The bank stole from you --- those SOBs. You should be compensated. You should be allowed to go in and have your way with any employee you choose (male or female, whatever your sexual orientation). One employee per overdraft. At that point, it would be good if you woke up from your fantasy and realize that if you post a question, the answer may not be to your liking and that the bank is in fact entitled to charge you an overdraft fees on the day the first charge was authorized and another fees on the day the second charge was authorized. The fact the first charge did not actually post till the second day is not relevant.
