Paying ex's bills made after divorce. advice needed.

What is the name of your state? arkansas

hello,
my fiance is having a problem with his ex-wife. they have two kids together, and complete joint-custody. but, she has made bills that she isn't paying after their divorce. one for child care amounting to $1,500 for the daughter, and one for doctor bills amounting to $3,000 for their son who has adhd. he pays insurance of 80% for the doctor bills. the bills are in her name not his. she braggs about having his last name still and knowing his ssn. She has made several credit applicatons with his and her name. What can we do? About the bills, her using his name for credit and to start new bills?

First, get copies of your husbands credit report from the big 3 CRA's. See what sort of mischief is listed.
Then, go to the police dept with the credit applications that aren't his and file an ID fraud report. Take this report to a lawyer and haul her back to court to ask a judge for a restraining order preventing her from using any of his identifying info on any sort of application.
Now, contact the creditors who've been defrauded and file fraud claims. Fax a copy of the police report and then cooperate with them as they investigate.
As to the children's medical bills, who does the divorce decree hold responsible for payment?
