Please Helpi have a judgement against me for about $5500.00 i have offered to make payments in the amount of $200.00 a month i have already sent one payment, they did not send it back so i assume they accepted it. i guess my question is can they still garnish my wages if i agree and make timely payments? and can they take my only car? i live in alabama. Thank you ![]() Last edited by redbird_36266; 02-14-2002 at 09:14 AM. |

| Dear redbird, Unless they have stipulated to forego enforcement actions in consideration of your voluntary payments, yes. They can garnish up to 25% of your take home pay any time they want. JASON@LEGISLATOR.COM |
