PNC bank thievesWhat is the name of your state? PA I am a sub contracted employee. The checks I receive are hand written from the company that hires me. Today I went to PNC bank to cash one of those checks. It was written from a PNC business checking account. I do not have a PNC account. I was told that to cash it they would have to charge me $5. Is that legal? If I go to a bank to cash a check from one of their account holders, have valid ID, and their is enough money in the account, can they charge me to cash it? |

| Yep. That's legal. Crappy, but legal.

| I am a sub contracted employee. Start adding a $5 check fee to your invoices. DC
