Quit Claim Deed

What is the name of your state? Ohio

My son and his family live in a house that I actually own but have never paid a penny on it; they have always paid for everything, taxes, insurance. They cannot qualify for a loan. There is very little equity in the house.

Will a Quit Claim Deed help me and how will that affect credit card companies to whom I am having a hard time paying since I am on Social Security Disability?

I don't want to lose the house for them or have liens or judgements filed on the house.
