| I returned a call to a creditor who proceeded to confirm/solicit information from me. I avoided the question about my employer and was told that by law I have to give employment information. Creditor stated it is a federal law with a name (R and something) that requires me to divulge my employment information when asked by a creditor.
The creditor rattled my cage a bit with this--because I don't want them calling work/attatching wages, but I don't want to violate the rules. Any truth to the statement that I must give employer information? |
