recuperation of savingsWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? yes, only U.S. law, New York My brother in law lives in South America and had his life savings, in a savings account with the city bank. He discovered that all his savings had been taken, he contacted the bank on his own expense, and they informed him that a hacker in the bank had done that, they are investigating. Now for 2 months no answer to him at all, (he does not know I am doing this.) What are his rights?? Specially due a sickness of one of his daughters, he needs some money??? Sincerely Alfredo a. | South America is not part of the US.

| The hacker hit a US bank. The brother really needs to deal with the bank. Put EVERYTHING in writing. If necessary, the letter can be faxed to the bank to make things go quicker.
