Repossesion of Car

Hello! Can anyone help?

I am 20 yrs. old and I have not filed for Bankruptcy. I admit I do have alot of debt at my young age. I also realize that I have made mistakes. But the main purpose of this message is to ask, is there anyway I can keep my car from being taken away in the state of WAshington? I have contacted the bank and explained to them that I lost my job. As of May 1, 2002 I will be 3 months behind. I told the collection lady I was trying to get the money. Which would be $900.00 to bring my loan current and she started to ask personal questions. I asked her if there was any kind of arrangement I could make with her in order to keep my car or if there was a minimum I could pay. SHe told me NO! And kept going on and on about how I don't have a job and how am I making it? She also said I have till May 1, 2002 to get the money (900.00) I did a little research tonight on how I could possibly keep my car. And the only thing popping up is Bankruptcy. The only problem is now is that I returned home tonight (4/30/2002) from visting my family and friends. And recieved a phone call at 11:45 p.m. From a man from the company "HIDE and SEEK" here to REPO my car. I told the man I wasn't here and I was the roomate. THen the man kept going on and on. Now the problem is since 11:45 they have called 5 times and now are knocking at my door and its almost 2 in the morning. I know a article I read said they can REPO your car at anytime and come onto your property. But the funny thing is I live in the city and its a gated door you have to be buzzed in? Now how did they get in? Also, do I still have the right to pay the 900.00 when the bank opens? Or not? Im confused and scared please IF anyone has links or advice. Please post! Thank You!!

This is really a simple matter.
1) You signed an agreement to repay the lender a certain amount each month for them allowing you to use their money.
2) The agreement includes a clause saying that if you fail to pay, they (the lender) can seize the property (car) that is used as security.
3) You haven't paid as you promised.
4) They have the right to recover THEIR property and sell it, then apply the proceeds of the sale, less all costs, to the amount you owe.
5) If the sale price, less costs (repo, legal, fees, etc.) is less than you owe, you still owe the difference. If the sales price, less costs), is more than you owe, they owe you.

Really simple.
So, how do you stop them from seizing your car??? You pay them what you owe!! One more thing.... the only binding agreement is your promise to pay. The lender has no obligation to accept anything less than what the agreement says. Though most lenders will allow some leeway when a debtor has problems, they are under no obligation to do so. And finally, if you make ANY payment (full or negotiated), be sure to get a written statement from them that they will cease all efforts to 'recover' the car as long as you are in compliance.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
