repossession

What is the name of your state? IDAHO i recently had my camptrailer repossessed. the bank sold it auction, and yesturday i got a letter stating that i should contact them within 30 days. i asked them to send me proof of the ssale price and all the other fees attached. i was told i need to take there word for the amount owed. if i wanted any documentation, i would need to retain an attorney and sue them. Is this right?

Doesn't sound right to me.

Was this a repossession for non-payment, or a seizure as a result of a judgment??

In any case, send the bank a very nice letter (certified RRR), explaining that you would like an accounting of all fees, penalties and credits of the sales. You need this information because they could owe YOU money (if they sold for more than the amounts owed including expenses), or you could owe them money if sold for less.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

THANK YOU

Thank you for your advise. I used it, i have sent the bank a very nice letter stating the information i am requesting. I also sent it certified. I have'nt heard anything yet, but my fiance' talked to an atourney and kind of told him about the problem. He seems to think if I was not notified of the exact time and place of the action the trailer was to be sold, the bank is going forfiet the bal of the account. By the way, this was a repo because i could'nt make the payments. Anyway, the bank called yesturday, and wanted to offer me a reduced settlement, by reduced i mean about a thousand dollars less. Is this a normanl thing? Why would they do that? I asked her and she just said it was a kind-of-sort-of-taking off some chgs. I asked her to send me a copy of the letter that i was suppose to recieved about the auction, she told me that she would get in touch with the dept who sends those letters out and fax me a copy. Tonight she called back and said the dept has misplaced my file. I guess i'm still at my opening question, DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT? hELP!!
