| i live in florida, but this isn't a state matter. Can anyone help me to file in federal district court against a collection agency in ohio (their client is usa funds or group) for violating my rights under the fair debt collections practices act of 1977; section 805. They are the 14th agency hired by united student aid going back 18 years. i have numerous times sent them evidence that the loans were paid, yet the harassment continues, even after i sent a certified letter envoking section 805. somebody needs to teach them to respect our rights under the law. |
