Recently I found out that someone used my name as a minor to obtain a phone bill and gas bill in my name. It could have been someone in my family but the bills are almost 800.00 dollars a piece. I can not afford to pay them and I know that it will make my credit bad. What should i do? Is there anything againest the law for minors being held resonsible for debts not made by thereselves. I am living in Maryland and I am not a minor anymore.
