Get an attorney and sue them.

Then, when the attorney has done his discovery, call the police.

What do I do?

I just found out that my siblings forged my name and withdrew a vast amount of money that my father had put into a fixed deposit account under all the siblings names.

They took it and told me nothing.

I do not have the name of the bank, and they could have done this nearly 10 years ago!

Any help?

Please!
10 years ago??? I don't see you having much luck, especially since you don't even have the name of the bank or the account number

if the time passed is only 4-5 years ago, you may be able to get bank statements if you know the bank account number and if your name was on the account.

Banks generally keep records for only seven years.

My father put $200,000 in a fixed deposit for me. He died and I want to take the money out now.

Do I have to pay tax on this?
Does this mean you found the dough?

Please stop saying sibling. The dirtbag is your brother or your sister. Have you simply talked to them about this yet?

The money is gone. There is nothing you can do about the money. The only question for you is what are you going to do about your family? Are you going to discuss this and clear the air; are you going to harbor a secret hatred; or, are you going to put it aside and simply never trust that family member with money again?

If you father didn't gift away more than $1M during his lifetime, there is no tax due on the "gift" part. Sine the money was put in an account in your names, you'll owe tax on the income (interest, whatever) it has been accruing (as a matter of fact, you owed that as it accrued even before he died, if he wasn't on it).

And why hasn't your father done anything about this?

If you have $40 mil on the table and you are trolling the internet for legal advice instead of taking your butt to the best attorneys you can find, you are liar or a fool and the result is the same regardless.
