signing boss's bus. card receipts for himWhat is the name of your state?NH My boss has asked me to make purchases for him on his corp. credit card and sign his name. Is this appropriate behavior for a secretary? When the card was maxxed out recently, the accounting head insinuated that I had been using the card for unauthorized expenses. I have always turned in receipts for all purchases as soon as I get them back from my boss. I want to refuse to use the bosses card. Are there any legal reasons that will support me in this or does the signing policy vary based on company policy? |

How to handle purchases not requiring signatureThank you for your help. That is what I thought. How does this apply to making purchases for my boss on his card if they are over the internet or a purchase over the phone that does not require any signature, or book hotel? Is this illegal as well if he has instructed me to make such a purchase? I need to know because once I bring this up I will need to know where to draw the line safely and legally. |

Can't this man do anything for himself? (A question I'm sure you've asked yourself a million times.) ![]()
