What is the name of your state? Washington
can some one tell me what the statue is on a medical bill in washington state?
An agency is trying to collect 4 years later and Im afraid if I make a payment i will mess it up if the stature is up?

Generally, medical bills fall under 'goods and services' portion of the UCC - with a 4 year SOL. Some have argued that a medical bill is a written contract (6 yr SOL), but the opposition to THAT argument states that signing an agreement at the hospital does NOT fall within the definition of a written contract.

I'd start with the 4 year SOL per the UCC.

It depends on what kind of medical bill. If it was from a hospital you probably signed guarantee of payment paperwork prior to admission and the 6 year SOL will be in effect. It it was for a routine visit at a doctors office the 4 year SOL may be in effect. A lot depends on what you signed prior to recieving services.
