What is the name of your state? West Virginia
Can someone please tell me what the statute of limitations is for West Virginia re old debts? There is an old debt on my credit report that is over three years old. (please, someone's else's advice besides "home guru".)

Depends on what type of debt. If it is credit card or anything but a promissory note, then it is 6 years. However, the SOL does not dictate how many years the debt stays on your credit report.
