| The additional actions are basically sticking that judgment on your credit report which will deny you financing at conventional rates on a car, home or, a cc until the judgment is satisfied. The judgment can last years and accure interest. The judge'll not take any of that into consideration. |

| Corrections. Q1) "what additional actions can the creditors take in claiming the debt" A1) If the 'claim' is not a judgment, the creditor can only call and beg/plead for you to pay. If you don't, the creditor can then file a lawsuit and, if they get a judgment, use the Texas statutes to enforce the judgment by seizing and/or garnishing non-exempt assets (car, bank, property, etc.). Also, a judgment is good for 10 years and renewable forever. And it collects minimum 10% interest!! Q2) "does the judge take in consideration the money made now and if the debt went towards college. just wondering." A2) Nope. The court makes NO determination in your income, the reason for the debt, the fact that you are or aren't a student, doctor, baker or Indian chief.
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
