STUDENT LOAN

i got a student loan when i lived in california in 1987
i moved back to texas in 1989 where i still live today
14 years. i begain having all sorts of problems from the
begining and have not made one payment. now i am disabled
and on social security and a collection agency contated me.
my quetion is can i be sued or bank accont be garnished after all of this time or can the agency cotinue to call
legally saying by federal law i have to pay the amount to
the board of education. what can i do?
